Arenal Volcano National Park (Group Tour) – From La Fortuna

The tour is with a certified, bilingual naturalist guide. The company that we work with has guides that know a lot about the history of the Arenal area and its prior eruptions as well as about local birds and animals you may encounter. This is useful because there is very little information available at the park so you don’t really know what you are looking at without the guide.

This is the easiest of the volcano hikes in La Fortuna/Arenal. To get to the viewpoint, there’s a well maintained staircase. From there, you walk the old lava flows for a very short distance. This part of the trail is somewhat irregular due to rocks, but easy in difficulty overall. 

The tour is a great option for families with young children or anyone looking for an easy hike to see Arenal Volcano.

Cost of Group Tour (12 people max) – $80 per person adults, $40 per person children ages 4-11. Rates plus 13% tax. Free for children under 4.
