Dolphin Watching-Snorkel Tour in Samara
This is one of our favorite tours in Samara. It’s a nice combo that will let you explore the turquoise ocean waters around Samara.
Your experienced bilingual guides will take you a few miles offshore in search of bottlenose and spotted dolphins, which can be seen year-round. During certain times of year (July to October and January to March), you also can spot whales that are passing through the area.
The tour includes some time to snorkel at one of two snorkel spots (conditions vary but usually you can see a decent amount of fish).
The boat is a small, but sturdy, catamaran. It has two hulls and a large flat, covered deck so there’s a comfortable area with shade. It also has a bathroom with a flushable toilet.
The tour starting location is the southern end of Samara Beach (about a 10 minute drive from town).
Cost: $58 per person adults; $42 per person children ages 5-12. Rates plus 13% tax. Free for children under 5.
This is also available as a private tour for $850 + tax (up to 15 people).
