Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge Guided Tour – Puerto Viejo de Talamanca
This is a guided hike through the gorgeous Gandoca-Manzanillo Reserve near Puerto Viejo de Talamanca.
Your bilingual local guide will take you through the lush tropical rainforest to see wildlife. This spot along the Caribbean coast is rich in birds and animals. Wildlife that can be spotted includes sloths, howler and white-faced monkeys, coatis (raccoon-like animals), birds like toucans, poison dart frogs, lizards, snakes, and much more.
Your guide also will take you to viewpoints, like the famous Miss May Point overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea.
The hike is about 3 hours long along a mostly flat trail. Although fairly easy, the trail is very rustic as it is not used often.
Cost: $50 per person adults; $25 per person children ages 6-11. Rates plus 13% tax. Free for children under 6.

Duration: 3-4 hours
Includes: Bilingual naturalist guide, entrance fee, and fruit snack.
