Private Tour of Rainmaker Conservation Park
This is a private guided tour of a beautiful nature reserve about 30 minutes from Manuel Antonio. Rainmaker Conservation Park is a great off-the-beaten path destination that sees fewer visitors than Manuel Antonio National Park.
With a knowledgeable naturalist guide, you will explore the reserve’s 2.5 km (1.5 mile) trail in search of wildlife like poison dart frogs, lizards, snakes, butterflies, and birds (Toucans, Manakins, Trogons, etc.). The trail cuts through lush primary forest (never been cut down) and has spectacular rainforest views. There are also several rustic hanging bridges that will give you a bird’s-eye view of the canopy.
Along the way, you’ll pass some waterfalls and natural pools where you can take a dip in the refreshing water.
The trail is easy to moderate in difficulty.
Rainmaker is one of our favorite places to hike in Costa Rica. It’s great for kids and adults alike.
This is a private tour so you will have your own guide and private transportation.
Cost of Private Tour (only your family/group): $124 per person plus 13% tax. Kids under 5 are free.
