There are a several companies to choose from in La Fortuna/Arenal for ziplining, but the experience at Sky Adventures is one of the best.

Their ziplines are extremely elaborate compared to some of the other companies and their guides are really fun and safe. They have a 2.5 hour tour that starts with a gondola ride up and then brings you back down on 7 different cables. Each one is a different length and there are two very long ones. The longest reaches over 750 meters (2,460 feet!)

This is a high-adrenalin tour. The ziplines are very high up and fast, giving you amazing rainforest, volcano, and lake views.

This tour is great for children because they don’t need to hold onto the zipline cable. They can easily hold the metal pulley.

Cost: $89 per person adults; $74 per person students up to age 25 (ID required); $61 per person children ages 5-12. Rates plus 13% tax.

Offered: 8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.

Maximum Weight: 300 lbs (136 kg). Harness Measurements: Waist 53 inches, legs 27 inches.

Minimum Age: 5. (Kids of ages 5-6 will ride tandem with a guide). There is no minimum height or weight (if they are too light, they will go with a guide).
