Hello!

My fiancé and I will be attending a wedding in Tamarindo in early March and then have an additional 6 days to explore more areas of Costa Rica.
Since we will have already had some beach time, we’d like to check out other areas of the country. In reading your posts, Bijagua and Miravalles both sound very nice. I’m wondering with our timeframe if it makes sense to just stick with these areas or if there is another area you might recommend in addition. We are flying out of Liberia mid afternoon and enjoy outdoor activities and good food. Thanks for your valuable feedback!

Hi Katy,
Not sure where you are at in the planning but you could probably fit in one more place since both of those destinations are good for a couple of days but don’t have too many activities. If you just want to relax and see some local towns, maybe the six days is fine for you. But if you want to see more, a lot of people like to visit the cloud forest in Monteverde or maybe the Arenal Volcano in La Fortuna.
