Best Food in Manuel Antonio, Monteverde & Arenal

Hi – My husband and I love your blog! It has been tremendously helpful. Apologies if you already addressed this (I couldn’t find it in the forum), but can you recommend some great places to eat in Manuel Antonio, Monteverde and Arenal? We are big foodies and want to try authentic Costa Rican, delicious, casual cuisine. We are avoiding “fancy restaurants” since it doesn’t feel authentic to us and we would rather spend our budget on trying many different things. We don’t want to just try only Costa Rican food – very open to other types of cuisine such as Mexican, Italian or Asian (anything with spice!). When we tried to research this online, we only came across list of different types of dishes, not specific restaurants, vendors or hole-in-the wall places.
