Where to go next after the Carribean?

I am working on my own itinerary for a two week trip to Costa Rica with my boyfriend. We are renting a car. So far, we have the first 3 days in La Fortuna/Monteverde , then 3 days in Tortugueruo, then 3 days in Puerto Viejo. At that point we only have four days until we need to be back in San Jose to fly home. Is there anywhere else we can get to in that time? SHould we spend more time in one of these places? Less time? Make a stop somewhere in between?
