what kind of socks do you suggest for hiking during rainy season? wool or cotton along with liners. I own a few pairs of Smartwool but I think they might be too hot for Costa Rica. Please help?

Hi geopulse,
It is still quite warm in Costa Rica in the rainy season. A wool blend would be fine as long as it’s ultralight (something like these). For casual hikes (half day), we usually just wear cotton athletic socks.
