Hi there, I want to travel to Costa Rica for two weeks next month and I’m thinking of staying in Puerto Viejo. I’m not really up to travelling around too much for site seeing (at least not at this time, although I guess there’s always the chance that I’ll change my mind when I arrive). I might decide to pick up some surfing lessons, attend a yoga class or two, or go on some sort of hiking adventure. But right now I all I feel like is finding a sunny beach to nap on (it’s been a long winter). I’m a pretty easy going traveller and am used to travelling solo and taking things day by day. I was just hoping to get some recommendations for affordable places to stay. Maybe around the $100/night or less range. Perhaps something with a flexible booking policy so if I decide to move on after a few days I can. I’ve read a bit about Puerto Viejo and it seems like my kind of place, but I’m open to other suggestions as well.
Great blog by the way! 🙂
