The Birds of Costa Rica

Costa Rica has over 880 bird species, almost as many as in all of North America. This video highlights some of the spectacular birds we’ve seen during our trips to Costa Rica. Among them are the Scarlet Macaw, Mealy Parrot, Great Curassow, Social Flycatcher, White Ibis, Turkey Vulture, Stripe-headed Sparrow, Coppery-headed Emerald Hummingbird, Royal Tern, and Frigatebird. We need some help identifying the small gray bird in the nest. Birders out there, do you know what it is?
